C4 started really about 5 years ago. I have been painting for years & my first love was Hot Rods. I had painted many custom rods & parts, that I decided to start branching off into my other hobby which was Vintage BMX bicycles.
From there, the business took off like wildfire. Since then, I have upgraded nearly all my equipment several times, painted over 1000+ frames for the BMX community & I'm still busy as can be.
I know BMX bikes and the value they hold. BMX is all I do now, so I have the experience for those "one of a kind" handmade frames. I know better then to blast the welds smooth then blow it on so thick you can't tell the difference. I know where the serial #'s are and what pieces fit where. I'll measure headtube diameters and BB's to make sure cups fit after being coated or masked off. I'll test fit seatposts and clamps because I know the headaches these areas can create.
I'm a collector at heart and appreciate what these bikes mean, so preserving them right is important to me. That's just a few reasons why I'm trusted by so many with their priceless child hood bikes that they somehow managed to hold on to all these years.
Every frame sent to me gets the best effort I can put into it. If I'm not proud of it we'll do it over until I am.
